Catholic Charities creates COVID-19 relief fund

DUBUQUE — The disaster relief ministry of Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Dubuque has started a fund to help people affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Catholic Charities can offer financial assistance to individuals and families who have been economically impacted by COVID-19 and are struggling with basic needs,” states the agency in a post on its website. “We rely on parish/school personnel to know of people in their communities who have been impacted by COVID-19 and refer them to Catholic Charities. Anyone is eligible with a referral from a parish/school.”

The agency is also seeking donations for this fund. For more information on this, visit dbqarch.org/donate-covid-19-relief-fund.
