American Heritage Girls receive religious awards

Five girls from the American Heritage Girls Troop 2015 were recognized at 10:30 a.m. Mass on Sunday, Feb. 2 at St. Joseph Parish in Marion. Sarah Schechinger completed the “God is Love” program; Lauren Cooper, Mariah Schechinger and Elizabeth Walz completed the “Family of God” program; and Eleanor Walz completed the “I Live My Faith” program. Each of the girls received a medal presented by Father David O’Connor.
